This place is known for its excellent cuisine with regional and seasonal specialties. In following the credo “slow food”, the hosts try to treat the guests to high-quality regional products. As a result it is their aim to only buy from their neighbours.

They get their trout and chars from the fish farm Grainau, the Murnau Werdenfelser beef from local farmers, the dairy products from the show dairy Ettal, the lamb exclusively from Buckelwiesen and venison from the region. The kitchen uses only natural salts and flavour enhancers like aromas and glutamates have no place here. In order to always be able to guarantee fresh and high-quality products the guests can choose between the popular classics and a different 5-course menu every day.
