Meat desire and sweet sins

Who knew that Ireland borders on lake Wolfgangsee - at least as far as the culinary aspect is concerned. At Angusta in St. Gilgen the main specialty is real Angus beef from the green isle in the Atlantic. Located on the edge of the forest the restaurant has been treating its guests to meat dishes from its wood-fired grill for more than ten years.

What's most important to the owners, Bettina and Aldo Zanatta, is that it's real and authentic - and that also goes for the ambiance. The wooden table is a natural product, just like the steak on the plate; and during the summer months the fragrance of grass and flowers pervades the restaurant's terrace. As of recently you can't just get meaty delicacies but sweet delights, too: in a small café in St. Gilgen and one in Bad Ischl. They perfectly round off the indulgent Angusta experience.
