Reading is their passion, books are their life, and Waltraud and Gregor Hoch say that that’s something they want to share with their guests. And that’s why their Hotel Sonnenburg in Oberlech is more than just a stylish 5-Star ski hotel, it’s a literature hotel, too. All around the year the hosts organise readings in collaboration with renowned publishing houses. Locals and holidaymakers can look forward to a varied programme with talks, theatre productions, and book signings.
This winter the kickoff takes place on December 7 with Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker who redefined the genre of “Heimatroman” (= regionalism) with his novel “Enteignung” (= expropriation). London-based Joe Berger with his series of comics for kids “Lyttle Lies” (also suitable for Englishspeaking guests) as well as the teen book author Ursula Pozanski are part of the programme, too. Hotel guests and children from Lech can enjoy the readings for free.
