Kriegeralpe

Kriegeralpe is an impressive place throughout the year. Built in Tannberg Walser style the rustic hut at 2,000 altitude metres offers the best surroundings for a comfy break à la ski-in and ski-out. Located right by the slopes you can just meet up for lunch or enjoy après ski before following the slope all the way into the valley for an aperitif at Burg Bar. Winter hiking paths also lead past Kriegeralpe.

The culinary offer on the mountain hut is impressive: Local specialties – like mountain cheese, roast dumplings or cream cheese made from goat’s milk, are all turned into something extra-ordinary using hand-picked herbs and flowers from Oberlech’s mountain pastures. Mountain chives and wild caraway as well as alpines picknel and masterwort are sure to delight the guests’ palates
